The use of sphygmomanometer


1.Before the sphygmomanometer is enabled, check it first. The dial of the sphygmomanometer that can be used normally refers to the "0" position, reacts flexibly after pressure, and can still return to the original "0" position.

3.Adjust the arms and the height of the heart, height is not enough to add a cushion under the arms.

4.The armband is flattened so that the middle of the air band is facing the brachial artery, and the lower edge of the armband is 2 to 3 cm above the elbow socket. It is not too tight or too loose. Generally, it should be able to insert two fingers under the sleeve to avoid affecting the correctness.

5.Insert the tip of the stethoscope into the armband and place it on the brachial artery at the elbow.

6.Pump air slowly into the arm band with a latex ball, while paying attention to monitoring, and then increase the pressure by 2.5kPa-4kPa(20mmHg-30mmHg) until the brachial artery pulsation disappears.

7.After the pressure is stopped, the air in the armband is slowly released at a speed of 0.3kPa-0.6kPa(2mmHg-4mmHg) per second, so that the sphygmomanometer pointer gradually drops. Systolic blood pressure is the value of the pressure indicated by the hand when the pulsing sound is heard through the stethoscope during the descent.
